John Gonnella has been practicing law since 1994. For 24 years, he ran a practice in Chicago focusing on a diverse area of legal issues including personal injury law, criminal defense, divorce, immigration, international transactions, and litigation.

He joined Accurate in 2017 as General Counsel with a focus on Workers’ Compensation defense and compliance. John now serves as Chief Legal Officer of Accurate Personnel. In addition to Accurate’s contract and lease issues, John also oversees our Human Relations and Workers’ Compensation Departments at Accurate.

John has been admitted to and has practiced in front of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Illinois Supreme Court, and the Illinois Court of Appeals. He is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois, California, Connecticut and has recently passed the Florida bar examination.

John has three children and in his spare time he coaches a number of local basketball teams.
